Health Rules

1. An Animal Owner or Vet client form must accompany each animal and must be presented upon arrival at the exhibition.

2. No dairy cattle showing clinical signs of contagious or infectious disease including active ring worm, warts, lice and mange , will not be admitted. A statement of this is required on the CVI

3. Official Health Certificate CVI must accompany all cattle. And must be issued after May 1, 2012.

4. Animals will not be unloaded nor admitted to the Fairgrounds without the proper CVI. The CVI must remain available at all times during the Fair as additional inspections by the PA Department of Agriculture’s veterinarian could be made

5. Individual animal identification is required. Metal ear tag, ear tattoo.

6. NEW RULE - A current rabies vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian is required for animals 3 months of age and older. All vaccine label directions must be followed , and all rabies vaccinated cattle must be accompanied by a rabies vaccination certificate or the vaccination information must be included on the CVI. If the rabies vaccination certificate is provided it must contain legible name and contact information of the veterinarian who administered the vaccine and the veterinarian’s signature. A copy of the rabies vaccination certificate is acceptable.
